Artist Elizabeth R. Whelan is captivated by the judges' comments on the Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Fair entries, and particularly this beautiful set of eggs where the comment was, 'Gorgeous, All!

The Ag Fair paintings are based on real entries and comments from the judges, but to protect the innocent, Elizabeth has changed the exhibitor names to notable ancient Romans -- in this case, Aurelia has entered the lovely eggs!

Elizabeth Whelan uses museum-quality materials including traditional oil paints and mediums, high-quality canvas and archival rigid panels, and has finished the painting with an archival satin varnish for protection.

The painting is framed in a hand-stained maple floating frame.
