What are your shipping rates for artwork?

All fine art prints are shipped for free within the continental USA.
All paintings under 24 x 20" are shipped for free within the continental USA.
For larger paintings and international orders, please contact Elizabeth Whelan directly.

How long will it take for my print or painting to arrive?

Prints are custom-printed to your order, so please allow 3-5 business days for our fine art printer to complete your order. Shipping times will depend on your location. Tracking will be provided upon shipping.

For paintings, please allow 1-3 days for your painting to be carefully packaged and prepared for shipping. Tracking will be provided upon shipping.

What kind of materials does Elizabeth Whelan use in her painting?

Elizabeth Whelan uses 100% archival materials of the best quality. She uses fine art professional quality oil paints, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, gouache, and drawing media, and likewise any papers or canvas are top quality and acid-free.

Some of her smaller paintings are canvas on wooden stretchers, however most of her current work and larger paintings in particular, are painted on canvas which is mounted to aluminum panel or 'Dibond', or multimedia archival panels. This is an extremely durable and archival method which eliminates the warping sometimes found in larger paintings where canvas has been stretched on wood.

What kind of paper is used for the fine art prints?

Elizabeth did a significant amount of testing to find the best paper and fine art printer, to reproduce her work. Her art is printed exclusively on Hahnemuhle's Torchon paper, a weighty 285 gsm acid free fine art paper with a lovely parchment surface that especially suits reproductions of oils.


Can I return my painting or get a refund?
Elizabeth Whelan does not offer refunds on paintings or prints. Depending on the circumstances, she will exchange the painting for one of equal value, with the customer responsible for shipping charges. If you have questions about returns, please contact Elizabeth directly.
